An interesting but not ridiculously complicated hat. You can style it fitted like a beanie, or slouchier, it’s up to you! There’s five sizes to cover teens to adults.

It’s worked inside out, to reduce the amount of purling, and to make it quicker and easier to knit. As long as you’re comfortable working in the round and have a little bit of cable experience, you’ll be able to make the hat! Yes, you are working the cables on the wrong side but they’re no more complicated than doing them the usual way, and it feels a bit subversive and fun if you ask me…

For a beanie fit, choose a size about 1-2 inches smaller around than your head; for a toque fit, choose a size a little closer to your actual head measurement. Length is adjustable.
