this project is easy enough for adventurous beginners but interesting enough for more advanced knitters. no matter what your skill level, you just might learn a little something along the way.

the construction of this hat was inspired by holly priestley’s ‘nomadic nights slouch’. when i knit her hat, i fell for the brim knit flat and how that looked which started the ball rolling for this design.

if you use the dream in color ‘canyon’ and are careful to get gauge, you will have enough yarn to make two hats (with the colors reversed- see 5th photo).

also matching mittens and gloves are in the works. look for their release in the fall of 2015…
