This ascot is perfect for the accessory impaired (like me!) because its keyhole closure makes it hard to lose. The yarn is very soft and comfortable around the neck. If you decide to substitute another yarn, select with comfort in mind as well as looks. The pattern involves knit, purl and tuck stitches, all of which are fully described in the pattern. It is designed for use with a Kiss regular or small gauge loom. However other looms that can match the gauge may be used. The design may be made safe for small children by substituting a large snap for the keyhole. 3 main sizes are included. The yarn used in the pattern is available at Herrschnerr’s.
