This tool belt is a necessity for anyone who want to dress up as a builder.

The tool belt can be adjusted to accommodate different waist measurements and the pattern can easily be adjusted to different tools.

The pattern consists of written instructions (US and UK terminology) for making the belt and guidelines on how you make the tool belt to fit the required waist measurement. The belt is worked flat and a little bit of seaming is involved. Gauge doesn’t matter as the belt can be made to measure while making it. I used dk yarn (251.9 m/275.5 yd) and a 5.0 mm (H) hook to make a belt for a 57 cm/22.4” waist.

For this pattern you require:

  • DK yarn
  • 5.0 mm (H) hook
  • 9 buttons
  • Tapestry needle

Feel free to sell the tool belts you make, but please don’t sell the pattern or claim it as your own.
