I had designed a very feminine pullover with a wide, deep scoop neck, and I wanted an easy openwork pattern that would lend itself well to the design. I think this little bit of eyelet is exactly what this sweater needs to make it truly stunning. The eyelet carries through the Garter stitch trim at the waist and bell sleeves. I love how this piece turned out! -Sue McCain
