This shawl can be knitted in any yarn: the yardage and final size will differ.

Directions to knit the shawl in a 4 ply/fingering yarn are also given, specifying 130 yds and 6mm needles, for a tension of 8 sts and 12 rows, which results in a shawl 66cm / 26” by 28cm / 11”.

It is knit from the neck edge down- and out-wards.
