Pierrot Yarns Irish Linen - held double - need doubled yardage.

Pattern is English. Please read my free patterns to check my English ability before you buy this pattern. Especially, try top down garter stitch yoke vest (short rows version), which has almost same construction as this gilet pattern - starting from top, short row neckline and raglan increasing.

I designed this gilet to fit Japanese steamy summer. I especially took care to attain wider neckline and cap sleeves. This gilet has draped fronts when they are opened. And also nice when closed with shawl pin. Open fabric of low gauge will fit this pattern, so you may choose 4ply linen or silk to get lighter knitted fabric. This pattern also fits for wooly yarn, which is not tightly spun in 4ply weight.

You can knit this pattern until getting your favorite length consulting your stashed yarn because the pattern is written in top down. Shorter or longer length is also nice - I think. Please check the project gallery on Ravelry!!!!!
