My favorite sweater when I was a teenager was a pink tennis sweater. This one rivals that one for beauty, wearability and washability. I love how it feels; it’s a loose fit and extremely comfortable, even here in Orlando, Florida! Plus, the cotton is recycled. (Every little bit of “reduce, reuse, recycle” helps, folks!)

It’s super easy to knit up and the mock cable detail to the bottom edge, neck edge, and sleeve edges are a snap. I’m really into the mock cable thing lately, I guess because I can accomplish a cool, flat cable look without the cable needle and very quickly.
