This cowl, which is worked in the round, represents a convergence of two techniques: slip stitch mosaics and the brioche stitch. Even though the cowl looks like it is worked using a stranded method, only one color is used at a time. The results create a reversible cowl that has two distinctly different yet equally attractive sides. One side looks more like a traditional stockinette mosaic, but the fabric lays flat and does not roll as traditional stockinette must. The other side reveals a surprising textured effect.

This unisex cowl is very warm, yet lightweight, and comfortable to wear.
