Geometric order and optical play define this cardigan, where the stitchwork is inspired by Escher’s mathematical art. Lines of textured knit and purl create shifting planes across the body, suggesting depth and layered surfaces that change with movement and light.
The cardigan is worked flat and features a classic button band and crew neckline, giving a structured frame to the dynamic patterning. Drop-shoulder sleeves keep the silhouette relaxed. Minimalist yet full of intrigue, the design invites knitters to engage with structure as much as surface. The result is a cardigan that feels at once contemporary and artful, bringing mathematical inspiration into everyday wear.
