The Torjelly bag is but one of several designs using the old style bag design with a new updated feel. Bright colors can make this bag a product of the 60’s to the bright colors of today. Toned down with a splash of color it looks as if it walked right out of the 1900’s.

Finished Size 12.5” wide, 6 “tall, and 6” deep. Measurements before felting 13 inches tall 19 inches long and 9 inches wide

Yarn Cascade 220 (100% Peruvian Highland Wool) 220 yards (201 meters)100 grams (3.53 ounces). (MC) color 8393 Navy Blue 2 skeins = 440.0 yards (402.3m),(CC1) 4252 Moss Green 1 skeins = 220.0 yards (201.2m), and (CC2)8412 Pale Yellow 1 skeins = 220.0 yards (201.2m).

Needles Size 6(4mm): 24” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions markers(m); tapestry needle;12.5”x 6” piece of plastic or ⅛” plywood for bottom of bag(make sure to sand and round corners); ½ yard of material for lining(optional); 12-14” leather purse handles(information page on woolycricket.com for making handles and measuring your bag.
