Completed in one piece, top down, this cap features a lace flower increased from the center of the crown. The beak of the cap is made double thickness by using short rows to create a small pocket, which is sewn inside the brim of the hat. This hat can be made slouchy by adding stockinette stitch rows between the lace motif and the brim or by blocking the hat over a small dinner plate. Rancho Tranquilo’s Sport Weight Alpaca yarn gives this hat warmth, minimal weight and a beautifully defined lace motif.
