Township is a simple slouchy hat with an understated pattern. It is worked from the bottom up using a lovely slipped stitch ribbing that I have loved for years. The ribbing transitions into stockinette with the slipped stitch maintained for a subtle and simple texture. A perfect quick, one skein project for a beginning or advanced knitter.

The hat has a loose fit; if you like a snugger fit, go down a size.
