This is a traditional baby hat pattern. The hat fits the baby’s head perfectly and warms well the ears and forehead. Apologies for not having a baby available for taking the photo… but you can imagine how the corner on the right settles on the forehead and the lower corners on the ears. The lower corners are also the point to attach straps of your choice.

The idea of these instructions is that you can use any yarn of your choice, wool, bamboo, silk, cotton… The stitches and rows are calculated for a certain gauge. You can easily knit a bigger hat by using a thicker yarn.

Errata:
Point B should say 40 ridges.
