It is traditional to have a hat with a brim, and more modern to move straight into the patterning of the body.
This pattern provides both options, so you can work a hat for your traditional or modern men.

CONSTRUCTION
Traditional versus modern is a beanie knit in the round. The pattern is written for DK weight yarn, and 7 sizes. The pattern has 2 brim options, and works up to the crown in a simple squared texture pattern.
You will need to know how to work small circumferences in the round. If you do not know how to do this you may need to reference a knitting book or online tutorial.
