Trail of Crumbs conjures a German fairy tale, and an uncertain path through a dark forest. It is a supremely wearable winged triangular shawl. Not too deep and with its elongated wings it is easy to drape over your shoulders and keep in place. The dramatic colour work only appears complex. Simple slip stitch techniques mean that you never have to knit more than one colour on any given row. It is knit flat on circular needles with simple yarn over increases. One full skein of a neutral colour, plus small amounts of four more colours makes it an excellent stash buster!
