Your next garden party is going to be superb with your brand new table runner! Crocheted in a fun, winding stitch pattern, Trailing Vines is the perfect accompaniment to a lovely table setting. The “vines” trail their ways all the way up from bottom to top, and this beauty is finished up nicely with a scalloped edge. Simple stitches never looked so good!

Stitches: Ch, sc, dc
Yarn: Anything from Fingering (#1) to Sport weight (#2) cotton or cotton blend yarn, approx. 560 yards.
Kelbourne Woolens Mojave works well for this!
(I used Knit Picks Curio #3 in “Pistachio,” 2 balls, for the sample in the picture.)
Hook: D3/3.25mm, or hook needed to obtain gauge.
Sizes: 58 x 11”

Gauge: 18 st x 7 rows = 3”

NOTES:
~ It is super easy to shorten or lengthen this runner; simply add or subtract “sets.” Instructions for doing so are included in the pattern. Keep in mind that, if lengthening, you will need more yarn than what is originally called for.
~ Can’t reach gauge with the yarn you want to use? No problem! Your runner may be slightly larger or smaller than measurements specified, but look…. It’s a table runner. Not a sweater. Just go up or down a hook size or two until you’re close. As long as you’re close, you’re fine. Please enjoy a stress-free crochet experience.
