With an (optional) enclosed elastic band and an i-cord that will double as shoulder straps and a drawstring waist the Transitional Tunic allows longer use out of your knits. It will double as both a loose tunic or a sweet skirt -- make your knits last longer!

Gauge is 4.5 spi in stockinette stitch

The pattern requires a surprisingly small amount of yarn; the two smallest sizes can be made with only a single skein of 250 yards. Yarn amounts are as follows:

6-12 months - 220 yards
12-24 months - 250 yards
2t - 4t - 300 yards
4t - 6t - 350 yards

The yarn amounts listed are generous amounts, please err on the side of too much rather than too little.

Pattern is in written form only, there is no chart.
