Trapper Hat
Knit with the bulky warmth of Patons Shetland Chunky and the cozy faux fur softness of Patons Theo, you’ll love showing off this hat all winter long. (Patons Yarns)
Skill Level: Intermediate
MATERIALS
Patons Shetland Chunky (100 g/3.5 oz; 136 m/148 yds)
Contrast A: Taupe (78022) 1 ball
AND
Patons Theo (100 g/3.5 oz; 35 m/39 yds)
Contrast B: Champagne Bubbles (86008 ) 1 ball
Sizes 6 mm (U.S. 10) and 10 mm (U.S. 15) knitting needles or size needed to obtain tension. 2 stitch holders.
TENSION
15 sts and 20 rows = 4” [10 cm] with smaller needles and Contrast A in stocking st.
5 1/2 sts and 14 rows = 4” [10 cm] with larger needles and Contrast B in garter st.
Body is worked flat in 2-row Texture Pattern (in Shetland Chunky). Ear flaps liners and Front Flap are worked in garter stitch (in Theo).
