Did you know that Scallops are the only migratory bivalve? They travel, or swim, by rapidly opening and closing their shells.

This pattern uses a traditional crochet motif of shells that are opened by chain 1 in the center and the Möbius design keeps the pattern moving constantly with no apparent beginning or end.

Gauge: 4 shell motif (2 dc, 1 ch, 2 dc) = 4.5” blocked
