A lace-and-rib pattern spirals upward in this cute hat, which works up quickly in worsted-weight wool. Don’t let the lace pattern intimidate you—it is surprisingly simple to knit!

Materials:

Brown hat: Fiberphile Super Squish Worsted 100% superwash merino wool; 218yds/200m per 100g skein; color: Fig and Plum; 1 skein.

Green hat: Pigeonroof Studios Bacchus 60% wool, 40% silk; 200yds/192m per 100g skein; color: Bronzed Teal; 1 skein

16-inch US #5/3.75mm circular needle
16-inch US #7/4.5mm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
