Travelling onward is a crescent shawl with chevron lace panels between stocking stitch sections. Designed to show off that one skein of yarn in your stash that has been calling out to you, or as an excuse to splurge on a special purchase.

The pattern has been written with beginners to lace in mind, with lots of stitch markers in place to minimise the amount of counting needed on each row. This also means it can be a quick relaxing knit for more experienced knitters.

Gauge is not too important, however if your gauge is very different it could mean using more or less yarn.
