This pretty and practical shawl is completely reversible as the main body is knitted in garter stitch and the edging uses a combination of reverse cable and garter stitch lace.

As the shawl is knitted in one piece by grafting the edging onto the live stitches of the main body there is no specific tension.

The main body is knitted with 100 grams (425 metres) of Countess Ablaze Persephone Sock Yarn in This Ain’t A Scene.

The edging used just under 50 grams (200 metres approx.) of Countess Ablaze Persephone Sock Yarn in Bounty Hunter.

The shawl has been designed to celebrate Yarn Shop Day and is dedicated to all the fabulous fibre folk whom I have met or am yet to meet on my woolly wanderings.
