I am fascinated with the hyperbolic crochet coral reefs that are showing up all over the world and thought I would make a layered wrap with some of these elements.

This wrap pattern has three tiered layers added to the pearls on the sea floor. The seaweed layer is made using a variation of the new crocodile stitch with a picture tutorial. The next layer is sea shell followed by a coral reef layer. The pattern also includes complete instructions for making the darling Sea Horse pin.

Pattern has instructions for making a shorter version or a longer version. The crochet stitches include, sc, hdc, dc, tr and sl st and front loop and back loop work.

You will need 3 different Worsted Weight Colors:
Pearl and Seashell layers (246 yards for the scarf, or 328 yards for Long wrap)
Seaweed layer (162 yards for the scarf, or 216 yards for the Long wrap)
Coral layer and sea horse pin (183 yards for scarf or 239 yards for Long wrap)

Aluminum Crochet hook size G (4.25mm)
Kilt pin or large Safety pin for Sea Horse pin
Small amount of polyester fiberfill
