An engaging and quick-to-knit shawl that uses traditional Shetland construction methods and features textured garter chevrons, arrowhead lace and a scalloped garter edging. Knit in three parts, beginning at the point of the centre triangle, it increases with yarn over loops at the outside edges that are easily picked up to work the lace border and the shawl is finished off with a scalloped edging, which is worked lengthwise, simultaneously knitting it on to the live stitches of the border.

A cosy wrap in elann Milly Milly 100% wool as shown in purple, it also makes a light and lustrous dressy layer for warmer weather in cotton/rayon blend, Luna as shown in cream.

Materials: 3x 100g elann Milly Milly DK (220m/240 yds per 100g ball) or elann Luna (194m/212 yds per 100g ball) or approx. 590m (643 yds) of DK weight 22 sts/10cm (4”) yarn.
