For this project you need to know the basic knit and purl stitches, and also how to slip a stitch. There will be no decreases or increases and no shaping, so this pattern is suitable for beginners, but I think it is also interesting enough and fun for knitters who are used to more complicated patterns.

I combined the dark, natural material of the cotton with an experimental texture that reminds me of tree bark. Its structure is light and lovely, yet the scarf robust and stylish in appearance.
