Treat your Christmas tree to a bounty of festive beauties with these easy-to-knit decorations. With this knitting pattern you can knit Santa, a soldier, penguin, angel and snowman.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the decorations are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.25mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 3)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/276m skein in each colour.

One size only - 11cm to 13cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, intarsia for the penguin, and seaming to finish.
