The Tree Rings Shawl is a long and narrow crescent shawl worked bottom up in cozy garter stitch with a pretty scalloped border. Worked side to side, the twisted ribbing in the border creates texture and depth and really shows off the colors in a semi- solid colorway of Yowza.
The soothing, simple garter stitch center is picked up from the edge of the border and shaped into a crescent with short rows. In two sizes, this shawl takes one or two skeins of Yowza and is as relaxing to knit as it is to wear.

Miss Babs Yowza (100% superwash merino; 560 yards/8 oz), 1 (2) skeins, shown in Muslin (Cacao). Or 500 yards/ 823 meters (1050 yards/ 960 meters) worsted weight yarn.
