This is the first in a series of Christmas patterns to knit a festive wall hanging. 21 little knitted trees are each decorated with their own stitch pattern and then sewn together to make one big triangle. Each tree is about 10 cm / 4” tall and the finished wall hanging is roughly 46 × 38 cm / 18 × 15”

This first pattern explains how to knit the basic trees. Instructions for each of the 21 decorated panels will be published daily in December 2017.

Details of all materials needed are in this pattern, as are a few alternative uses for the trees, should you not want to make the wall hanging.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff

Happy Knitting!
