This is a nice wide and deep tote, named after my sister who liked the idea of a strap that was sewn down into the body of the bag as a design element. It begins with Emily Oecker’s cast on and is knit up to desired length. The strap is knit separately and attached. The yarn is held double throughout to make for a sturdy, stand up bag. The button hole is simply cut into the fabric after felting.
