Kirbyville is surrounded by rural farm land and forested areas. While driving one evening along the backroads, I noticed a tree “reaching” across the road and a knit pattern of two intertwining trees came to mind. I remember the first time I saw that pattern, I fell in love and really wanted to make it, but I did not know how to knit. I assume there are others out there who love this block, but don’t knit. So, I present to you my 12” crochet version.

It is worked flat with post stitches creating the tree and limbs. The pattern is witten with options for color changes or you can work it in a solid color.
