Trefoil is an updated version of the familiar yoked sweater of the 1970s. This design has waist shaping and a lower neckline creating a more feminine and modern look. The addition of pockets allows casual practicality; the contrast lining adds an unexpected pop of color. The Fair Isle patterning at the yoke is a subtler rendition of the typically large (and often garnish) motifs of the past. As this is knitted in 100% Shetland wool, steeks are easily incorporated that allow the bod to be worked in the round, then cut without fear of raveling. This cardigan is perfect to throw over a T-shirt and jeans on a crisp fall day!
