This heavy outdoor sweater is adapted from a Norwegian-type cardigan. The directions are slightly different from many sweaters you have knit. There is 3-inch ribbing with the opening in the front, then the sweater is put on circular needles and you knit continuously to the top. You end up with a long cylinder which is cut apart for front opening and sleeves.
