This baby sized blanket combines texture and colour in a playful balance. The body of the blanket is knit all in one with knits and purls defining the triangle texture. Choose a circular needle size to obtain gauge that is 60cm (24”) or longer to accommodate the width of the blanket. The border is knit on after using a pick up and knit technique. The aran weight yarn makes this blanket thick and cushioned. We used Cascade128 which is a wonderfully soft merino that is machine washable too! You will get the opportunity to pick four contrasting colours to border your blanket. Delightful!

Yarn: 3 skeins Cascade 128 (117m/128yds each) for main body of blanket. 4 colours for border about 30m/32yds each.

Level: Knitters should know how to cast on, knit and purl, pick up stitches, and bind off to make this blanket.

You may get all the yarn and the pattern together in a Knit Café Knit Kit HERE
