Tress Mittens are seamless mittens knit from the cuff up with cables.
The pattern is written in two sizes, to fit most woman’s hands with a wrist-hand circumference of 16.5-19 cm / 6.5-7.5”.

The pattern is written for circular needles and uses Magic Loop for cuff, body and thumb shaping.

Size (wrist-hand circumference, estimated yardage):

Gauge:
18 stitches x 28 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette Stitch

  • Plucky Bello Worsted (55% Merino, 45% Cashmere, 183 m / 200 yds in 105 g / 3.7 oz)

  • circular needles in two sizes – first in size needed to obtain gauge, second in 1 mm down (the sample was made using 5.0 mm and 4.0 mm / US 8 and US 6)
