This Argyle Plaid sock is a Fair Isle type pattern and does double duty. Not only is it beautiful and durable, but it is the easiest color-work sock you will ever make and is knitted from the toe up for the best fit ever. Beginning with contrasting color the toe is knitted in stockinette stitch with increases every other round. The body of the sock is worked in an easy Argyle Plaid and the heel is worked in a salt & pepper pattern for extra strength where it’s needed. The sock is completed working 2 x 2 ribbing in solid red. Change the colors for a more masculine look.
