Trestle is a drop-shoulder construction tee, worked from the top-down. To begin, the front and back yokes are worked flat, separately, with shoulders shaped by short rows. At the bottom of the armhole, the front and back yokes are joined, and the body is worked in the round. The sleeve cuffs and collar are worked after completion of the main body.

Trestle is a sport weight tee, intended to be worn with a relaxed fit of 4–6” /10–15 cm positive ease. This design features a folded collar (with an option included for a standard collar), delicate lace pattern along the front upper yoke (the back is worked in Stockinette Stitch) and is finished with a hi-lo split hem (the front a bit shorter than the back) which is worked in 2x2 ribbing to coordinate with the collar. For a splash of color play, the sleeve cuffs are worked in two-color Fisherman’s Rib to complement the lace pattern.

Trestle is designed with a slightly cropped finished length but can be easily adjusted for more of a crop or a longer finished length. Adding length may require additional yarn.
