Stripes go this way, drops go that way: pretty shawl for advanced beginners!

450 to 900 yards of fingering weight yarn - can be done with any weight of yarn, multiple skeins: simply repeat the two pattern rows of “Stockinette Section” until 10% of yarn remains.

Preference: long-color-stripe, “grabby” yarn (not smooth and slippy).

Pink/purple sample used 600 yards of Noro (1.3 skeins), needs a shawl pin

Black/grey/tan sample used 437 yards of Zauberball (1 skein), big neckerchief size.

This shawl is amazing in striped handspun!
