This bag measures about 10 inches wide, 6.5 inches tall at its widest points. The stitches used are chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble, and slip stitch (in American terminology). I consider this a beginner/intermediate level project. You will need to know how to hand-sew the motifs and the strap together. If you want to get crazy and line this purse, I suggest using felt because of the unique shape of the bag body.
his purse gets its unique shape from a combination of triangle motifs. After I made it, I thought “It looks like a butterfly, I’ll call it the Butterfly Bag.” Then I thought it kind of resembled an owl. Then I thought it looked a little like a tulip. Since Tulip-owl-butterfly-bag sounds a little strange, I just settled on “Triangle Purse,” but you can call it whatever you’d like.
