A series of triangles make up this ruffled scarf with a mohair lace edging. Triangles are knit continuously, from stitches picked up along previous triangle. Lace edging is added last, using simple yarnover stitch. Knitters should be familiar with standard decreases, yarnovers, and picking up stitches. Scarf is 45” long.
Yarn requirements--195 yds of fingering weight self-striping yarn and 240 yds of lace weight yarn.
Suspended bindoff can be used to bind off the edging. This technique is explained in the Pattern Support pages on our website.
