Oversized coat using Knitting-as-Warp technique where contrasting yarns are woven-in to create colorful patterns after knitting is finished.

Measurements:

  • Chest: 45 (48, 51, 54.5)“
  • Length: 28.5 (30, 31.5, 33)“

Materials:

  • Main Color (MC) in chunky weight yarn: 650 (760, 860, 960) yds or approx. 6 (7, 8, 9) 3.5oz / 100g balls in dark blue.
  • Diagonal Color (DC) in chunky weight or doubled DK/worsted weight yarn: 200 yds or two 3.5oz / 100g balls in darkest intensity blue.
  • Contrast Colors (CC) in chunky weight yarn or doubled DK/worsted weight yarn: various lengths in medium to dark intensity red-purples, purples, blue-purples, blues, blue-greens, greens, and yellow-greens.
  • For pocket linings: 30 yds MC or any CC in chunky weight yarn or 60 yds DK/worsted weight yarn, doubled.
  • Five 1” buttons in CC.

Needles:

  • US 10 and 15 / 6 and 10 mm needles
