The name “Trick Pony” is because I learned some new techniques so that I wouldn’t be a “One Trick Pony”, as well as being a takeoff on the Horseshoe Print lace pattern used in the sock.

This sock is knitted top down and features a cast-on in rib, eye of partridge heel flap, and a star toe.

Instructions for the lace pattern are given in both text and chart form.
