Trickster might look like a super-cabley design, but there’s nary a true cable in sight. A simple twisted rib band morphs into the clever slip-stitch ribbing pattern of the crown, mimicking the look of cables.

Finished measurements
16 (17, 18, 19)“ [40.5 (43, 45.5, 48.5) cm] in circumference.
For the best fit, choose a size that is approximately 2” [5 cm] smaller than your head circumference.

Yarn
1 skein Neshobe by The Woolen Rabbit;
80% Targhee / 20% Silk, 249yd [228 m] per 115 g skein,
in colorway Blue Moon;

or 155 (164, 174, 184) yds [141 (150, 159, 168) m] worsted weight yarn. A wool blend with silk or other drapey fiber is recommended. If you are adding a pompom, you’ll need an additional 20–40 yds [18–36 m] of yarn.

Needles
