Triffid is the perfect shawl for tiptoeing through a garden or anywhere else – just be careful of carnivorous plants in your wanders. The classic novel The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham inspired this unique floral edged all-over lace shawl. The project is constructed from the bottom up and shaped with short rows. Science fiction horror turns pretty in this literature-inspired lace design.

Triffid was originally the first Zen Butterfly Knits Mystery KAL. Now available as an individual Ravelry download.
