The most unique pair of mittens you’ve seen in awhile ! These mittens were designed for the great hunters of the world who want to have warm hands while pulling the trigger. They can also be great for smokers or avid texters if you add a technology finger tip yarn to the end. These mittens work up super quick and the pattern is written to be knitted two at a time or individually. It was designed to be knit on circular needles but could be easily adapted for double pointed needles. The pattern contains one size of mitten which would be suitable to a large women/medium men. I choose to use Patons Shetland Chunky but any other chunky/size 5 yarn would work. If you need the mittens to be smaller or larger the size of the yarn and needles could be changed to alter the size. The patten includes pictures of the thumb and finger on stitch holders to help the knitter visualize the instructions before starting.
When knitting two at a time you must use two balls of yarn and a two at a time circular cast on which can be found on youtube!
