I needed a simple flowered embellishment for a project. So, some scraps of yarn and an hour later … voila!
Some may find the pattern fiddly, mostly at the beginning since there is a low number cast on, on to DPNs. The pattern is written how I came up with up it… so, if you find a way that works better for you- go to ! :D

Trillium flowers, if you do a google image search, are three petaled white flowers with three green leaves. You can knit the flower up to look like an actual trillium flower, or you can switch up.

The pattern is easily adaptable, for the purple version pictured I knit the pattern exactly as written. For the white version pictured, I added an extra two rows or so of plain old knit/purl to the white petals, but followed the pattern for the green.

pic #5 shows how the two triangles should be sewn together.
