This pattern produces fingerless mittens which feature a large cable, flanked by two smaller cables on both the front and back of each mitt. Instructions are provided on customizing the length of the ribbed, expandable cuff. There are also directions for optional cross-wrist tabs to be fastened with buttons.

Size: Women’s, one size fits most

Finished Size (Laying Flat): Hand circumference ~22cm (8 1/2”); Length ~20cm (8”)

The pattern is written in standard American crochet terms. The pattern is not a beginner pattern, but would be a great introduction for those familiar with front-post stitches who haven’t yet tried their hand at cables.

This pattern calls for worsted-weight yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook. The samples in the photos were completed using Patons Classic Wool in ‘Olive’ and ‘Light Grey Marl.’ Other recommended yarns for this pattern are Lion Brand Fisherman’s Yarn and Patons Decor.
