A car seat blanket is one that is large enough to cover a child riding in a car seat but small enough to not drag on the floor of the vehicle. It is the perfect size to fit over the child under the straps and yet small enough to keep the child snugly in place.

This is also a great size for riding in a stroller or wagon and for snuggling a newborn!

Designed for knitters who have mastered reading a basic pattern and who can tell by looking the difference between a knit and purl stitch.

Three diamond patterns appear in this pattern stitch: a moss stitch diamond framed with a stockinette stitch diamond, and a reverse stockinette stitch diamond between. The pattern repeat is over 14 stitches.
