Whip up a pair of fingerless mitts, some full-on mittens, or a cowl. Each pattern takes less than 150 yards of worsted-weight yarn, so any of the three is a quick project. Together, they’re a perfect set.

Mitts/Mittens
Yarn: 125-150 yards worsted-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit Superwash Merino, colorway Storyteller for both fingerless mitts and full mittens.
Needles: US7/4.5mm needle for small circumference knitting, or size needed to get gauge, and similar needles one size smaller, for cuff.
Notions: Waste yarn, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 20 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking
Finished measurements: Mitts/Mittens: Regular (Large) - 3.5” (4”) across hand (measured above base of thumb but below knuckles). Length varies.

Cowl
Yarn: 150 yards worsted-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit Superwash Merino, colorway Storyteller.
Needles: US9/5.5mm needle for small circumference knitting, or size needed to get gauge.
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 16 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.
Finished measurements: 20” circumference; 8” tall.
