MATERIALS: Cables in an alternate manner are used to fashion these socks. You will need:–3 (50 g) balls Lady Galt Kroy 3 ply. Set of four 2¼ mm (No. 13), (U.S. 1) knitting needles (points at both ends) or whichever needles you require to produce the tension given below.

MEASUREMENTS: Length of leg to bottom of heel flap 13½ ins. (11-inch leg).

TENSION: 9½ sts and 13 rows = 1 inch with 2 ¼ mm (No. 13) needles in stocking st.
